#1 Tips for pet boarding
Plan in advance- have your pets vaccination records updated when needed, have copies in a folder and kept in a safe place, write a detailed note of your pets feeding, medication list and a little bit about them. Likes and dislikes are both important. Be honest!

#2 What do I do in between groomings?
If you need assistance in learning how to brush your pet to maintain between grooms, just ask we'd love to help!
- Long-haired breeds, such as Collies and Tibetan Terriers, need to be brushed weekly, sometimes more often if the coat seems particularly tangled.
- Short-coated dogs, such as Labrador Retrievers and Greyhounds, don’t need frequent brushing because their hair doesn’t mat and tangle easily. Still, you may want to brush them every couple of weeks to remove loose hair.
- Short, wiry breeds, such as Dachshunds and most Terriers, need a slicker brush, followed by a once-over with a metal comb. Once every few days should do.
